Attested photocopy of the birth certificate

The birth certificate must be issued by the Municipal Corporation of the area where the child was born. Affidavits or certificates from hospitals cannot be accepted.

Aadhaar card

A photocopy of the child's Aadhaar card.

Aptitude assessment

The aptitude assessment for the 2026-27 academic session begins in November.

Students shortlisted on the basis of the written assessment are invited to a second round: a personal interview.

Securing your admission

Confirmation of admission depends on the results of the assessment and interview, which are declared within 15 working days. Once the result is announced, admission is treated as confirmed on deposit of the security and admission fees within one week.

  • Aadhaar / passport copy
    Aadhaar is compulsory for Indian students and a passport for foreign nationals.
  • Birth certificate
    Issued by the Municipal Body.
  • Immunisation card
    Compulsory for students below Grade 5.
  • Medical fitness certificate
    Certifying that the student is free from any contagious or infectious disease and from health conditions that require special attention.
  • Affidavit
    Required in the case of a single parent.
  • Transfer case documents
    Proof of transfer certificate or transfer order and a joining report stating the date of transfer.
  • Transfer certificate (for students above Grade 1)
    A valid transfer certificate from the last school attended, issued by the Principal, along with a character certificate and the most recent report card.
  • Migration certificate
    Required for admission to Class XI for students joining from boards other than CISCE.

When are 2026-27 admissions open at Yashmay World School?
Admissions for the 2026-27 session are open from November onwards across all year groups, Nursery to Class XI. Apply online at yashmayworldschool.edu.in or visit the campus in Gonda for an in-person registration.
What is the age criteria for each class?
Nursery: 3+ years as of 31 March of the admission year. KG, Class 1 and above progress on the standard one-year increment from there. Final eligibility is confirmed during the registration review.
Is there an aptitude assessment? How is it conducted?
Yes. Applicants from Class 1 onwards take an age-appropriate aptitude assessment covering language, numeracy and reasoning. Pre-primary entry is by interaction and parent interview. Assessments are scheduled from November once registration is complete.
What documents are required to apply?
Birth certificate, last two years' report cards, transfer certificate (for Class 2 onwards), passport-size photographs, parent ID and address proof. Boarding applicants additionally submit a recent medical fitness report.
How is hostel allotment decided?
Residential placements are confirmed after admission, based on age-grade-gender house allotment. Yashmay operates an air-conditioned hostel with up to six students per room, full-time pastoral care and 24-hour medical support.
Is there an interview round?
Yes — a parent-and-child interaction follows the aptitude assessment. The interview reviews the child's interests, prior learning environment, and the family's fit with Yashmay's ICSE and residential programme.
