- Yashmay Alumni and University Pathways
At Yashmay World School in Gonda, Uttar Pradesh, we take immense pride in the achievements of our alumni and the journeys they pursue across India and abroad. This page celebrates their stories, showcasing the diverse paths they have taken since graduating from our CISCE-affiliated, co-educational campus. From leaders across industries to passionate changemakers, our alumni continue to make the Yashmay community proud.
Guided by AI-integrated learning and pathways such as Access USA, our students can pursue guaranteed US university admission from Class 9 without the SAT or ACT, along with the WACE option, building the foundation for the global futures our alumni go on to shape.

Behind every name on this page is a journey that began in a Gonda classroom and continued onto a university campus. Yashmay alumni and university placements are the truest measure of a school's promise kept — proof that an education rooted in the Council for the Indian School Certificate Examinations (CISCE) framework, and extended through our Access USA pathway, can carry a child from Nursery all the way to higher study in India and abroad.
Yashmay World School, Gonda, has shaped young people since its founding on 2 April 2017, and the men and women who have passed through our gates now study, work and build across the country and beyond. The pages that follow explain, in general terms, how a Yashmay education prepares students for that next step — and why so many families in the Awadh region trust us with the years that decide it.
From ICSE and ISC to the University Door
The foundation of every Yashmay university placement is a strong board record. Our students sit the ICSE examination at the end of Class X and the ISC examination at the end of Class XII, the senior-school credentials of the CISCE — a board recognised by universities across India and respected by admissions offices overseas. These results, more than anything else, open the first doors.
Our recent cohorts speak to the standard. In the ISC 2024 examinations, one in three Yashmay students scored above 90 per cent; in ICSE 2024, seven of every twelve crossed the same mark. Scores at this level keep the widest possible range of university and course options open — from professional and technical degrees to the liberal arts — and they form the academic backbone on which our higher-education guidance is built.
- ICSE at Class X and ISC at Class XII, both under the CISCE.
- ISC 2024: one in three students above 90 per cent.
- ICSE 2024: seven in twelve students above 90 per cent.
- A continuous Nursery-to-Class-XII journey, so the groundwork begins early.
Access USA: A Guaranteed Route to a US Degree
For families who set their sights on an American university, Yashmay offers the Access USA pathway — a route to guaranteed US university admission that a student can begin from Class 9, running alongside the ICSE and ISC programme. It is designed to remove the two obstacles that most often stand between Indian students and a US degree: the entrance examinations and the cost.
Access USA requires no SAT or ACT. Students earn real university credit through the Access USA pathway while still at school in India, then progress into a partner American university — and by completing that early credit at home, a family can save up to $100,000 against a conventional US undergraduate route. It is one of the clearest reasons a Yashmay graduate's options extend well beyond the subcontinent.
- Guaranteed US university admission, available from Class 9.
- No SAT or ACT required.
- Real university credit earned via the Access USA pathway.
- Potential saving of up to $100,000 on the cost of a US degree.
An Internationally Portable Record with WACE
Alongside ICSE and ISC, Yashmay students can build an internationally portable academic record. The WACE credential complements the Access USA pathway and broadens the universities a graduate can approach, giving families more than one road to the same destination.
The practical effect is choice. A Yashmay student can leave Class XII holding an Indian board credential, a bank of US university credit, and an internationally recognised record — and then decide, on the strength of their own results and interests, where that combination should take them. We speak about destinations in general here out of respect for our alumni's privacy, but the principle holds: the groundwork laid in Gonda is meant to travel.
How Yashmay Supports the Next Step
University placement is not left to chance in a final, rushed year. Because Access USA begins as early as Class 9 and the ICSE and ISC programme runs the full length of senior school, planning for higher education is woven into a student's later years rather than bolted on at the end. Academic depth, the Access USA pathway and a portable credential are developed in step, so that by Class XII a student is ready to choose rather than scramble.
Prospective families across the Awadh region and the wider catchment — including Basti, Bahraich, Balrampur, Gorakhpur and Faizabad/Ayodhya — are welcome to visit the 25-acre Gonda campus and discuss what these pathways could mean for their own child. The alumni listed on this page walked through the same doors; the routes that carried them onward remain open to the students arriving now.
